Have you ever spent all day cleaning toilets? Cleaning up after sick kids? Maybe your wife should get a 2nd job.

Places like CVS offer health insurance for it's employees. Both of my kids worked there part time and were offered health insurance.

Why not drive a bus or transportation shuttle? City bus, school bus, airport shuttle, senior assisted living van, private bus transportation for conventions, etc - they're usually looking for dependable people with excellent driving records.

Just keep searching, you will find something else. I was unemployed 5 months, I took a job doing anything with CRAP pay just to bring money in, 6 weeks later I found an amazing job. I spent two hours a day searching and applying for jobs.

And don't underestimate a cover letter, my last two jobs I was told they were impressed with my cover letter
