If you have a decent sized chunk of money, you can invest the money and earn lots of money off the investments. this can require little work, depending on how hands-on or hands-off you are with managing the investments.

How about meteorologists? They won't revise the predicted high when the current temperature is above that. Then can say they predict partly cloudy when it's raining. Why revise the forecast before they are required to do so? Just stare at a computer monitor to see if anything different is approaching. But they do announce serious storms with about as much speed as they can. They can be wrong much of the time & not get fired. But if they don't get famous enough to get to be on TV, they may not get wealthy

A mid level government job, preferably union. At least in NYC, the city jobs seem to be super easy and full of slackers. I'm still trying to land one of those city jobs.

CEO of a large corporation maybe?? Politician. A member of the royal family in the UK. They don't seem to work much and are loaded with cash. All the royal family does is pose for pics. The prime minister and parliament do the government stuff in the UK.

Phony experts at whatever, especially if the govt helps. If medical researchers please the funding source (telling them what they want to hear) it's maybe half a million per "study".

One researcher actually admitted he never watched the patients to see if they were doing as they were told to do/told not to do. It was all self-reporting, as in my time is too valuable to actually observe them for only several hundred thousand!

Good point. Although some folks might find it rather difficult to, um, well perform their duties under so much scrutiny.

This. Though there are no 'easy' jobs with a fat paycheck, there are relatively stress free jobs where the paycheck is good, the hours are good which includes some hard work in school and some loans to get there.

At the top of the list I'd say would be pharmacist and optometrist.
