For most of the IT positions with I have applied for with the state of colorado this website it says the following under the application details.

"If you wish to challenge the selection and comparative analysis process, you may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board/State Personnel Director within 10 days from the receipt of notice or knowledge of the action you are challenging. "

However, I never get any timely notice or any update on the comparative analysis process. I get the rejection letter maybe 5 months later after the position has been filled. Any advice? Or is this website just a waste of time like usajobs.com. i have tried calling this IT departments hr to ask for an update on the analysis process but was only met with snark.
