Hello Friends,
My niece is a recent college graduate looking for a job in a non-profit organization (her main experience is volunteer coordinator, HIV/AIDS awareness & education and political activism). Her state has a great job vacancy website ran by their State Council on Non-profit Organizations but my niece has not been very successful in locating similar websites in other states. She isn't sure if it is because other states do not have similar type websites or they are just not easily found when someone is searching for them.
She asked me to ask my friends on C-D to post links if they know of Non-profit Organization Job Vacancy websites in their state (as she has expanded her job search nation wide). She also wanted to thank the people who responded to her other questions.
Idealist.org I don't think there's really a state level type to be hoenst.
Non profits vary all over the place. Some are exact and to the point of what they do. Others I really have no idea. When in doubt check the 990 reports. google them and type in 990 and look for a pdf file in the advanced functions.

Thanks, my niece does check Idealist.org.
None of the non-profit organizations in her current state list jobs on Idealist as they only use the state Non-profit job vacancy website and she is thinking that some other states may do that as well.
