I can't imagine what the problem is. She wears a bra. If that bra was showing without being covered by a shirt or blouse, that would be a different issue.

Didn't Madonna make a career out of that?

Walk up behind her and snap her bra strap. She'll get the message.

(And I guarantee that's the last day you'll experience that problem at that particular company!)

She is guilty of no taste -not a major transgression. Some women don't know that transparent clothes are inappropriate in the workplace and to when to wear buff colored underwear, a cami etc.
Ya, I'm thinking it is most likely she isn't wearing the right underwear with whatever blouse she has on.

Do your job and don't. If it's an issue, it's not your job to address it.

I've got a similar story -- but this was in non-profit social services, not financial market.

Supervised a young woman who was good looking, living at home with her parents, and liked to spend a big chunk of her income on beautiful lingerie. She often wore semi-transparent tops with contrasting colored bras, camis, etc. She also liked low cut jeans with visible thong straps above the upper waistband. Clothing that was cut short and would ride up, or bra straps that hung outside her sleeveless tops, etc. Found out much later that the maintenance guys had a pool on when their favorite colors would next be worn.

As her supervisor, sat her down privately. After we talked, she was a little more careful, but not that much.

We got a request for a worker to spend six hours inside Riker's Island, doing safer sex presentations for female inmates about to be released. Sent her. Quite a few of the inmates were deeply (and vocally) appreciative of her taste in lingerie.

Never ever saw any part of her underwear at work again.

Not sure I even know what a bra outline is but since you're 24 I'll cut you a break.

Once I stop laughing from these replies.

PROTIP: NEVER EVER EVER EVER get overly familiar with your co-workers. Smile and talk about work, food and hobbies. PERIOD. Don't insult or get in disagreements about FOOD or HOBBIES either LOL.

NEVER anything about anyone's appearance.

NEVER anything about intimate subjects or stupid stories about fights with girlfriends etc.

NEVER ask ANY personal questions.

Humbly and quietly visualize yourself as the potential president of the company and not everybody's buddy.

Trust me people will find ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to get offended about if you haven't noticed.

Don't test them talking about bra outlines FFS.
