A brand new Whole Foods Market is opening next year about 10 minutes from my house and I am thinking about applying to a nearby store (about 20 minutes away) to get some experience, learn the ropes and hopfully transfer to new store when it opens - provided of course, people can still afford food next year

Whole Foods website claims its company has been voted one of the best places to work in 2008.

Anyone work there part time or full time) Have any input - salary, hours, training?

Thx......

One thing about Whole Foods, which I think they still do, is they post all salary information so everyone can see it. Not sure if that is by store or by region, etc... So you can tell if you are doing as well as anyone else.
