Has anyone ever thought about working from home? I have. I believe that there's too much stress in the 9-5 routine. People are too biased in the job market.
After some corporate restructuring closed the office I was working in and i was the only one who wasn't laid off, I worked from home for the last year of the job. I loved it!
My new job I'll eventualy be transitioning to working from home, but I feel like I need to spend more time there still learning their specific industry.
I prefer working closer to home than to work from home. I like to separate my work life from my home life. I enjoy the field that I am in but I need to keep it separate from my personal life. I don't want to walk by a room or use my computer and be reminded of work.
I work from home most of the time. I much prefer it. I had to go to the office two days last week and will have to be there three days this week (training someone and then covering for the boss this week) and I don't really look forward to it...
It depends what kind of work you do. I am a therapist and no, I will not bring clients to my home. My address is not even listed on anything remotely related to work.
