I am getting so frustrated with the lack of information on the Department of Labor websites (at least Indiana and Georgia's). There is so very, very little information on interstate claims and many people are moving from place to place to find employment, cut expenses, etc. However, the information on the process is soooooo limited. Just like they have pages dedicated to rules, extended benefits, regular benefits qualifications, etc., they need to have a page specifically for interstate claims.

I am collecting from Indiana but now live in Georgia and I need to register for interstate. However, other than going to the office I don't know what the process is, how long it takes, if my benefit will remain the same (which by the way has expired and I have to now file for a state extension according to the letter I received today), if I have to file for the extension in Indiana or in GA, can I lose IN benefits if I am looking for work in GA? There are just soooo many questions I need answers to even though most of you will not be able to give me the answers, I think I just needed to vent about the lack of information on the DOL sites.

I guess I will find out once I get to the GA unemployment office.
