But you really haven't given any strategies like some posters have asked you for. Tell us the strategies that you used that we don't know about.

Posting half of my resume on Craiglist without my name and address. That was one strategy that worked.

Well clearly you are not the only one posting your resume on Craigslist, so this isn't something you were doing that no one else was.

I made sure I looked all how everyone were posting their resumes so I would know how to seperate myself. No one else was posting partial resumes on there but me.

Do the opposite of what most unemployed people do which is

Don't go to CareerBuilder or Monster or any highly publicized job site.

I don't know what most unemployed people do. I don't live with them to know what they do.

How do you know other people do this? Just because the websites exist doesn't mean other unemployed people use them. Nor that they use them exclusively, and not in conjunction with lesser-known job sites.

Right, and that was part of the challenge for me everyday I woke up. That was my motivation and I would say-"What can I do today that I know for a fact no other unemployed person is doing?"

That's how you come up with strategies, thinking about what the other unemployed people are NOT doing.

Another thing most unemployed people don't do is talk aboiut their unemployed status in a joking tone. Joking about your unemployed status makes it easier for a person to help you find a job.

They may not be doing but not going to a highly publicizd site is usually a good thing.
