I worked as a cna for 27 years then switched over to group homes. I dont foresee any problems with employment in these area in the near future. Its a very tough job and thankless. Most of the time we are doing it cuz we like the people and it doesnt pay the bills.

Just the opposite, I believe that the people who do the "rote work" in healthcare (especially RNs, CNAs, and other support people) are going to become more in demand as the "new healthcare stuff" (whatever it ends up being) pumps more people into the existing healthcare system.
I heard my state requires you to have a doctoral be a physical therapist...
Partially true. Most if not all states have upped their PT program to only offer DPT programs, but employers are not required to hire only DPT grads, there is a grandfather clause in effect.
Same thing happened to Pharmacists several years ago too.
Casino card dealer has a high turnover rate and is easy to break into.If you are willing to relocate 50k and up is possible within a short period of time.I would be wary of carpentry and other construction jobs.A huge swath of construction in the 2000s was taken over by legal and illegal hispanic crews. If you were white you were not welcome by the workers.Mabey that was fair for past treatment of hispanics but I dont think two wrongs make a right.

50k? No way. My buddy looked into this. You will get 50k after 3-5 years. You start off at a crappy casino with crappy blinds / limits. You will work your way up the ladder where you get $5 tips instead of $1.
Call Center is definitely the way to go. Not all of them are in India.
As always, insurance sales agents are hiring especially Farmers.
Well dub I was a dealer for 8 years I think I know what I'm talking about. In MN you can get into mystic lake casino quite easily and make 18-20 per hour day one.Down the road at canturbury downs poker dealers make 50k+ a year day one.The back room blackjack carnival games dealers on 2cd shift can make 50k to 70k day one. What your buddy looked into was the las vegas market. It dose take awhile to make the big bucks in vegas but any dealer with an IQ over 80 can make 30 to 40k starting out. There are many places other than vegas to start dealing where the money will be better for first year dealers.Like I said its POSSIBLE if your willing to move but ymmv.
Any dealer job anywhere in the U.S is ALL ABOUT THE TIPS.Most dealers make very little in base wage(non tip wage).Dealers at the higher end casinos in las vegas can break a 100k.And thats mostly all tips.So as regards your question, YES its mostly tips. And ohh by the why I used to work a cantubury and mystic lake so I know what I'm talking about.

20 an hour doesn't equal 50k unless you are working 50 hours a week.
