This is an experimental thread. I don't mean for it to be sexist, but to show/discuss women everywhere and the day-to-day things that women all have in common.
For instance, the daily routines and frustrations that we may share. Not so much a gripe thread, but a laugh at our mutual conditions site. Or, what does the place where you shop for groceries look like? Your place of work, if outside the home? Your laundry room? Closet? Your dinner? Place of worship? Anything really, nothing is too mundane.
I will take some pix and post them to get started. Would love to see/hear others' "snapshots of life!
The first two shots were taken after my son has cleaned the kitchen. He can't see what else he could do to clean it! And you will note the open cabinet door. My children have not mastered the skill of closing cabinet doors!

Neither have they figured out the way a clothes basket works. It is a difficult concept that they are still learning- dirty clothes INTO the basket.

My mom lives at the end of my street on a lake. This photo was taken on her deck and was "editted" by Muggy, a poster on this site, to poke fun at Florida's stereotypical culture.

Men here are quite sexist... They don't open doors for women, they rush in first to slam in in your face.... You are frowned upon if you live with a man w/o being married but they all cheat on each other. Once married, guys go out with their guy friends or their mistress, and women do the same. They just about all do it but criticize their neighboors for doing it...
Women don't seem to care too much about their appearance, and are rather comfortable with their extra pounds, I find this quite refreshing though I'm one of the lucky skinny ones.
I nag at my BF who's becoming like the Greek guys, sit on the couch all day and do zippo around the house. I scream at my butcher for not cutting my meat the way I ask him, and I drive as fast and crazy as they all do here!! LOL
