1. House prices continue to fall in spite of NAR propaganda.
2. US takes military action against Iran.
3. Unemployment will edge up to near 10%
4. Gold drops to $1400 an ounce and then bounces back to near $2000 by year's end.
5. More impeachable offences will be found against the administration and no action will be taken.

- Obama NOT re-elected - Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich instead
- Change in American policies regarding Obamacare and illegal immigration
- the illegal immigrant crisis in Europe may escalate into more riots in the UK, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain

- further popularity of the tea party in the U.S.
- further chaos and rioting in Greece and possibly spreading to Italy
- newer European Union members will hesitate to join the Euro currency given what is happening in Greece (wouldn't it be embarassing though if Polish or Hungarian taxpayers end up bailing out the Greeks???!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!)
- Crisis involving Iran's nukes will erupt either into war or close to war
- Escalation in the Mexican drug war
- Possible more military saber rattling on the Korean Peninsula with Kim Jong Un trying to prove tough
- Fighting will flare up again in Lebanon and the Palestinian territories - there will NOT be peace in Israel
- More domestic opposition in China, more economic growth in China though companies will start looking for even cheaper places like Africa
- probably a few more terrorist attacks by Islamic jihadis and more foiled attacks
- more violence in Syria but probably no military intervention (and there should not be)

My predictions for the year 2012:

1. USA narrowly avoiding an economic recession with slow growth.

2. Barack Obama will be re-elected but it will be a very close race if the Republican candidate is Mitt Romney.

3. Most countries in Europe such as Italy, Spain, Greece, and Portugal making some economic reforms.

4. Most countries in Europe making immigration reforms.

5. Plenty of countries in Europe having a bit of a recession the first half of 2012, but the economy will get better and recover by the second half of 2012.

6. North Korea probably getting a bit better. North Korea will also have better relations with South Korea. This is because the new leader will most likely be much better than Kim Jung Ill.

7. Continued tensions with Iran especially with countries such as USA and Israel. More economic sanctions against Iran. Iran having more instability and problems than it already does now.

8. Violence in Syria continues with a civil war similar to what happened in Libya and Egypt.

9. The situation in Egypt and Libya stabilizing a bit.

10. Iraq still having a lot of problems with a lot of instability continuing. Maybe a civil war. But it is still good overall that USA troops left Iraq.

11. Russia having a bit more social and government instability.

12. Israel having more problems than the year 2011 which was one of the best years for Israel in recent history.

13. Japan continuing to make a huge recovery from the earthquake/tsunami disaster. Technically that disaster only happened in 5% to 8% of Japan geographically. Most of Japan was left physically untouched.

14. China’s economic growth will still continue to grow steadily but will still slow down a bit.

15. China will have some social reform.

16. Some African countries continuing to make significant improvements but only a few of them such as Ghana, Botswana, and Gabon.

17. Some countries in Africa will have problems getting worse such as in Somalia, Congo, and Nigeria.

18. The Sudan problem getting better but it will still be bad in Sudan and South Sudan.

19. Venezuela’s government and social problems continuing to get worse.

20. Belgium will get very close to separating into two different countries, but narrowly deciding to stay as the same country.

21. There will be a Romania and Moldova unification. Moldova will stop being its own country and will be part of Romania again.

22. Nigeria splitting into two different countries. It would be similar to what happened in Sudan.

23. The World will NOT end in the year 2012. It will continue to exist just like before!

Red face My predictions

My predictions for 2012:

US: will recover much stronger than expected from global economic crisis.
EU: will still have lots of trouble absorbing debt, Germany will have a very hard time getting its people behind the bailout, possible protests/riots
RU: Putin will be re-elected, inciting more mass protests and riots...eventually will suppress riots with force, drawing international condemnation. Nothing will be done, however.
NK: Kim Jong-Un will continue to flex military muscle, will launch small attacks and spy network in South Korea, hopes of drastic regime change will continue to fade away. No popular uprising.
IR: Iraq will slip into violence again, igniting a small civil war. NATO/UN will get involved, US will do its best to take a back seat and not re-engage military.
World: We will see more extreme weather cases, but there will be NO catastrophic end-of-the-world event(s). We will be fine.
