Besides Canada, are there other countries internationally that televise the US networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX etc etc?
Not talkin tv shows but the actual tv networks- guess it's time-zone-related on top of things- so they're not seen internationally?

Every time I'm traveling overseas I don't notice any US networks except CNN (which is the International version- different from the US version).

It probably wouldnt make sense or do anything for ratings. If a show is on on the east coast at 8pm, if it is 2am in London, who is watching it? The advertising also would be geared to Americans it wouldnt make sense to pay to broadcast a commercial in a part of the world that wouldnt buy the product, use the service or visit the store. Seems like a waste of money. You can watch American TV shows online if you really want to.

Some Central American countries pick up local stations that use satellite to reach their market. For example, in Guatemala, the cable company provides the local Denver network affiliates. Denver stations use satellites anyway to service mountain communities, so is is easy for Guatemala cable to pick them up and unscramble them.

They have a few US networks in the UK, mostly cartoons and CNN, though. Those channels have advertising geared for the UK market, and CNN is basically CNN UK and International, but has more US news coverage than Sky or the BBC would have

Well actually your wrong. Alot of our advertisments are american. For example, i'm pretty sure nearly every Pantene advertisement is american. Nearly all the kiddie advertisements are american too. And I don't mean to be pedantic but if its 8pm in nyc it will be either 1am or 12am depending on time of year.

In Israel one can watch Fox as well as CNN. They used to have NBC but that got canceled for some reason (as per some friends who live in Israel).

We basically have the same on Sky in Austria. All the shows are in German, though, and only a few people actually pay for it.
