The farthest I've travelled is from Montreal to Vienna, which is 6428.11km. However, I now reside in Vancouver, and Vancouver is 8513.22km from Vienna.
. . . the furthest I've ever been on land from where I was born, would be Mauritius. That would be 9,902 miles from my birthplace. Anybody who has been in Mauritius who was born in Los Angeles would be up around 11,450, which is about as good as an American can do.
I have traveled from NYC to Botswana & South Africa and from NYC to China. I have also traveled from Israel (where I was living at that time) to Australia.
Lets see..... In one work related trip in under 10 days was completely around the world. NY(US) to Turkey to Jordan to UAE to India to China to Japan to Hawaii(US) to CA(US) to NY(US) (left out minor hubs for plane transfers).
