Some are impossible, the obvious example being Anchorage to Seattle. Also, in Angola, going from the capital to Cabinda, a city of 400,000, requires about 500 km of driving in DR Congo. Expedia and Travelocity refuse to acknowledge there is such a place and will send you instead to Cabo, Baja. Cheapoair recognizes the airports, but can't find any flights. Lesson: Use Kayak.
Travelers report that it is possible to take a short bus ride from Cabinda into coastal Congo, then a ferry back into Angola and a one-day bus ride to Luanda -- a route unacknowledged by Google Maps.. Yuo still have to go through Conga.
