Here's a map of China's (imaginary) territory in 2050. Everything pink is part of China. It comes from a Chinese site.
On this map they call Australia, India, Indonesia, Indochina, Korea, the Philippines "special administrative regions"; New Zealand an "overseas province"; Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Myanmar, and Central Asia "associate states". Japan is also listed as a province of China. Singapore is listed as a "direct-controlled municipality".
There are certainly a decent amount of day dreamers in China, not even New Zealand can get away with their territorial ambition.
