Hey guys, I truly have no idea where to post this...
Does anyone know the difference between the 2 types of tarmacs below? which one is better? which is more expensive to build? which one would you rather have your roads paved with?

The first type appears to be asphalt. The second type appears to be concrete.
Concrete is better for very heavy loads, such as pads for bus stops or parking areas for trucks. But it's also more expensive than asphalt, and it can crack and break with significant temperature variations.
Asphalt is cheaper, gives a smoother ride, and is easier to maintain. This is why the great majority of the paved roads in the world are paved with asphalt.
And yeah, I don't know which forum would be best for this question either.
