Ah ok. Well, Caucasians and Asians supposedly migrated out of East Africa a long time ago, so it makes sense that East Africans would be more related to non-Africans than the West Africans.

Agreed on all points. It is a bit strange how South African blacks tend to have lighter skin tones than most other Africans. It is possible they have some white DNA as well though. Most of the middle or upper class blacks will have the "white washed" look, where as the poorer blacks tend to be a bit darker overall.
Not really they have a small amount of Maghrebi DNA from the Berbers a population that diverged from a common population in the Levant more than 15,000 years ago. That is not the same as Arab DNA the Arabs spread culture and religion to North Africa but but not much DNA. There was some infusion of DNA to the Iberian peninsula from North Africa about 1,000 years ago but traces of North African DNA were present in the Iberian peninsula 4,500 years ago in some isolated pockets. There isn't a clear cut delineation either during the Neolithic there was a significant infusion of Early European Farmer DNA from the Iberian peninsula into North Africa.
You are also wrong about Israelis and Italians they connection is much more recent Sephardic Jewish and Ashkenazi Jewish populations overlap with Sicilians and Greek islanders because those populations absorbed women from the Italian peninsula into their population approx. 1,000 years ago. The vast majority of their maternal lines trace back to the Italian peninsula.
Alright fair enough on the Spaniards. But regarding the Italian/Jewish connection what you just wrote was what I was referring to.
Native people from Mesoamerica such as Mayans, sometimes look like Tibetans and other Himalayan people. The color schemes they use in clothing and art are also similar. Tibetan prayer flags look superficially similar to Mexican party pennants but I'm not sure the latter are indigenous related.
Theoretically some Native Americans traveled from Siberia which is very far from the Himalayas. So it doesn't make sense how these cultures have hit upon a similar fashion aesthetic as well as look vaguely similar.

I think the Horn of Africa has a significant history of trade with India. I don't know anything about South Africa, but I think people who are mixed race there are considered a different ethnic group from black people. The only thing I'm aware of that comes from South Africa is dassies.
Italians and Greeks could have similar looks. Parts of Italy were part of the Greek Empire. Sicily was conquered by the Arabs as well. Some Italians/Greek/Arabs could have similar looks.
Italy, and particularly Sicily, was conquered by the Normans. Italians could have light skinned and blue eyed Italians. Some Italians even have red hair.
Italians could be purely from Italian ancestors. They look like Italians and nothing else.
Most Israelis are from Russia. Nothing to do with Italy.
The Chinese and Japanese share many general similarities in appearance but their modern cultures are amazingly different, despite Japanese traditional culture having descended in large part from China's.

It's not a theory. DNA proves where Native Americans come from. They look more than vaguely similar because they are.
