My first nominees are Russia and France. Probably Korea, too, but with a different history, so hard to compare.

I thought it's US, Russia and North Korea, but according to this website is... Morocco.

^ Sorry but this list is bs, Japan as the least patriotic?? Arguably the only country in the world where you'd see "no foreigner allowed" signs on bars. Not to mention other things...
Netherlands as the 2nd least patriotic is equally hilarious, Holland and Scandinavia consider themselves as liberal utopias where half the world wants to move to.

You can also argue "willingness to fight" =/= patriotism. Maybe these people don't want to fight for the current commander in charge (president?) or are just afraid of Sharia law (Morocco).

Lastly, I'd be interested to see patriotism in countries where propaganda and government control of the press is lacking, that is America, Russia, Saudi Arabia and North Korea should be excluded.

France has very strong nationalistic laws that would be unacceptable in other countries. Language for instance, laws against veiled muslim women, etc.

In the United States, people who identify as conservative are very patriotic. People who identify as liberals are considerably less patriotic.

Maybe this is similar to how other countries are.

North Korea. Nothing induces patriotic fervor like a gun pointed at the back of your head to follow the party line.

I would say Turkey. They take great pride in their culture , language and history. Most of it is probably being heir to the ottoman empire . US also comes to mind

Probably the Eastern European country's (Serbia, Croatia, etc) and the South American country's (Colombia, Uruguay, etc)

The UK is definitely one of the last patriotic country's in the world.

What about their surroundings: Iran in the south and Greece and Bulgaria on the north...will rank them on the same level of hardcore nationalism.
