Sorry but i can't stop but to image you talking....China has decent cities... that's it. Apart from HK, i was not impressed by Shanghai. 5% of the city is beautiful and modern, the rest is average to poor.
Why is Shanghai bigger than London?.......................erm because more people live there perhaps?

I know a British He's from rural England About 1000 people London Paris Rome Milan Madrid He said he thought London was a very big city But he went to some big cities in China He feels that China's cities are very large Very prosperous He went to Beijing, hangzhou, wuhan, tianjin, Qingdao, nanjing, Shanghai, guangzhou, shenzhen, chongqing, chengdu, Hong Kong
I have worked for quite some time in both London and Shanghai and traveled throughout China and I would note the following:
- China has 25 times larger population than UK. There is more of everything in china including wealthy and poor.
- Chinese people are hard working and industrious and were only held down for decades by socialism. Now that they have adopted capitalism, they can't be held down and are fast developing their nation.
- Shanghai is not more prosperous than London but there are very wealthy sections of Shanghai but still areas not very developed.
- Shanghai, Beijing, and other large Chinese cities contain more of the cream of the top Chinese so that is one reason why these cities are developing so quickly

When people think of Italy they think of art, light, culture, the problem with China is it's full of 'oppressed' people, Hong Kong is the latest example of a population desperately trying to escape communist 'chains', which probably explains why such a massively huge country doesn't project anything much in the way of popular culture to the world.

I agree, not a huge fan of Paris. I'm from the south of France. China still has a long ways to go, and it needs to start doing things right instead of ripping people off. Doing business with China is terrible, the only advantage is price, but with the automation and the 4.0 industry that gap is going to close. the world needs to get their factory out of China. Made china is has become even more untrusted
