This is surprising challenging. A couple are obvious (Iran / Iraq, and Latvia / Lithuania) But it's hard to think of any more. By adjacent, I meal a land or river boundary. By same letter, English name by which it is normally alphabetized. Work on it for a while.

Also Mali and Mauritania share a border I am not sure if the Mauritanian border goes all the way to Morocco, they are close however.
