From the list, Seoul. I've known a couple of people who have lived there and a couple of good friends live there now. It's really helpful to know someone who can show you 'the ropes' when you're the new girl in town.

I lived in Seoul for around 7 years. Loved it. Actually, there are a ton of great cities on that list.

Tokyo would easily be my top pick prior to the ongoing problems in the region. I think atm it's not a fully functional city. So I just picked NYC, but I really have no desire to live in any of the listed cities. I think Seoul may be interesting for a bit, but I'm hardly into Korean historical or pop culture, food, or language.

I wish this poll had the option where someone can vote for more than one place and be able to vote for every place they would like to live in instead of only picking one place.

I will just list all the cities I enjoy and would live in, the cities I do not like and wouldn't live in, and the ones I am undecided for:

Cities I enjoy and would live in:
-New York City, USA
-Chicago, USA
- London, England
-Paris, France
-Hong Kong, China
-Shanghai, China
-Bangkok, Thailand
-Seoul, South Korea
-Tokyo, Japan
-Toronto, Canada

Cities I am undecided about which means I do not know if I like them or not and if I would ever live there or not:

-Beijing, China
-Moscow, Russia
-Mumbai, India
-Delhi, India
-Ho Chi Mihn, Vietnam
-Santiago, Chile
-Bangalore, India
-Kolkata, India
-Sao Paulo, Brazil
-Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Cities I do not like and would not ever live in(or even ever visit)

-Jakarta, Indonesia
-Lagos, Nigeria
-Karachi, Pakistan
-Kinshasa, Congo
-Bogota, Columbia
-Dhaka, Bangladesh
-Baghdad, Iraq
-Cairo, Egypt
-Lahore, Pakistan
-Tehran, Iran
-Mexico City, Mexico
-Istanbul, Turkey

You're right, Singapore is probably the most liveable large city in the world.

Singapore was the dullest place I ever lived.... sorry - but its far too controlled and sanitised IMO. Homosexuality is still a crime, the film committee even removed the word 'gay' from the sex and the City 2 movie trailer.... what more do I need to say ...... .....Apart from the cost of living is really high. Buying a car is just an outrageous expense even after you manage to obtain a permit to buy. Property prices are not too far behind HK. The 2 bed 1300 sq ft apartment we left 6 mts ago would of cost about 1.4 mil US$ to buy.....

Lived in London and Hong Kong and would live in either again in a heartbeat. Am in NY now.... would love the chance to live in Tokyo...
Have stayed in about half of the list but Tokyo, London or HK would be my choice...
