I pick the first choice because I've been in two of those places. The other one is my dream place to visit. >D

I'm laughing for the million dollars one. Heh, not even a zillion would I dare go into North Korea and Iran! If I was in North Korea, I'd probably run past that "no tourist allowed" statue and start taking pictures. Then, see how many police come after me and then, be detained to a labor camp. Eeck. (j/k on this!)

Iran wouldn't even be dangerous to go to... I'd go there if you just paid for the trip.
I should have clicked on any of them. Except N Korea. Not sure about Zimbabwe, do't kow about the safety situation there right now.

I didn't notice the IRAN one...I'd go there in a heartbeat. Not dangerous at all, and Iranians are actually really interesting people - they are basically the 'europeans' of the Middle East...with a lot of really cool stuff going on, etc.

I'd go there in a hearbeat...heck, if someone paid my plane ticket, I'd be there tomorrow.

I'd take any... and laugh to think of all the Pakistans who would love to get half a million for living in Pakistan. That is WELL above "average" lifestyle!

The OP is bit behind the times on Colombia. It's stable, and for the most part cleaned up from the drug war days. I'll take the $500,000 please.

Yep, I'd love Colombia or Iran.

The PHilippines is another one....7000+ islands...I've been to about 20-30 of them....and simply mind-boggling beautiful...a Pacific Ocean island....transparent water, amazing everything....just like the Carribbean or probably like Hawaii or Polynesia....but nearly deserted.

The Philippines is FORTUNATELY one of the most under-rated countries on the planet. 7000+ gorgeous palm-treed islands...
I'm going there again next month...this will be about my 10th trip down there. Boracay, Palawan, etc., I can't wait.

Being paid $300,000 to island hop between 7000+ gorgeous islands...I'd do that in a heartbeat!

The topic caught my interest. Notice, you didn't say for how long, or did you? You wouldn't have to pay me to go to New Zealand - well, maybe the air fare ? I wouldn't mind going to some of the other places as well.
If I could rent a plane and have the proper documentation/shots, etc., would love to have my DH and poochies w/ me for places like England. Some of the other ones.. hmm.. I'll take the money and touch my feet on ground and come right back, haha
