That's the way it goes, the more you know about writing, the less of that You'll need. Besides, that is how you become a good writer, by working to make a story better, getting the themes, proper punctiation, blah, blah, blah. It's actually pretty easy, the hard part is doing it correctly.
Well, I am in the mix of editing and writing these stories for publishing, attempting to do manga. Words are becoming really easy to work with compared to drawing characters, writing a script, doing scene panels, and figuring out the best format to do this in order to get it published.
There's also trying to reserve awesome character names to use as a pen name for myelf.
I wish you good fortune with your writing and manga and of course, your pen name! My main activity is making art, whether painting or constructing with mixed media. Writing has been more of a hobby, I suppose; however, at one time, I operated a business which required writing official reports, so being able to write has definitely stood me in good stead, lol. My granddaughter likes to write and is showing promise, so I hope she continues.
After reading my posts on another forum, I was told by a teacher at the Community College in our town that she would help me write a book about my life. I'm thinking about it.
I have 5 books, 4 tv shows, and 2 movies in the works.
3 of the books are nearly done, 2 require a lot of research.
I am trying my damnedest to get one of the tv shows produced. I have an entire season written completely, and enough outlines for 2 more seasons. Working on getting some concept drawings done, now.
I have written several books relating to my profession. Most of them didn't do well in the market. One was a great success and another has moderate success as a textbook in a handful of universities.
I used to think I would write at least one book, but I haven't and now I realize I'm not going to. I've known that for some time. Back when I thought I would, I really did think I would. I ended up being like the majority by talking about it, but that's it. Now, when someone states their plan to write a book, odds are it won't happen. If a person is really going to write they will write and not keep talking about it. Talking about writing a book is so easy. Writing it is the hard part. That's why it usually doesn't get done.
I've written a collection, but I'd love to write a poetry book. I started writing one about my grandma two years ago after she died. I've thought about writing a novel, but I'm not sure about that.
I had a book deal to write a technical book - I just needed to sign it. When I read the insane deadlines and penalties for missing the deadlines I just sent it back to the publisher. They wanted me to quit my job to write the book and demanded I produce 750 pages in a short amount of time. I guess my answer is no, I don't think I could write a book.
