I need a word that means funky or run down... (quote, suggestions)

I'm working on a Harry Potter theme miniature scene of an alley. Not as dangerous as Knock Turn Alley (nocturnally) or as nice as Diagon Alley (diagonally), so it needs a different name.

Any suggestions? I suppose it doesn't have to mean funky, but at least something that makes me look clever

It doesn't have to be an ”Alley”. How about Comp Lane, or Mis Lane? You could also try Common Place, or Sum Place, or Kor Road.

If I were doing something original, your ideas are great. Maybe a California Alley called "Free Way".
