Not sure if this is the correct place to put this.. but how do I find a pen pal? Is there a website that has people who would also like a pen pal? I just got into a conversation about this and think it would be great to have a friendship/conversation with a person I dont know. Not looking for someone to date or any of that creepy stuff that goes on, on the internet, just tell me about your life and I'll tell you about mine! Let me know if any of you know of anything or would even like to be my pen pan?! Have a wonderful day!!

Hi IMO on an open forum it's an advertisement for weird happenings. You may have wanted to put that in your about you as a hobby or interest and let that take it's course.
A pen pal sounds nice in theory, but I think u r still going to have to weed out the strange happenings and don't be too eager to share ur life online or u may live to wish u hadn't. Good luck.

Well, there are secure websites that may offer something like a pen pal. What do you want to do? If you want to do a language exchange you can go to a few legitimate websites and send recordings of you trying to speak the language you want to learn, and the other person will send you recordings of him or her trying to speak the language he/she wants to learn. If you want a foreign pen pal, you may want to try it. The internet isn't all creeps. There may be people who want a pen pal as badly as you do, but you have to put yourself out there, and find a secure website where they ban unruly members. If you have a webcam, perhaps you should try youtube or somthing like that. There may also be legitimate web sites set up for the sole purpose of helping people meet pen pals.
There's a little magazine published a couple of times a year called The Letter Exchange. The best source for penpals you'll ever find!
