I posted a thread in Tx , they told me that it is much harder to find a job on ranch than it used to be.

Is there any website or job agent for wyoming ranch?

Try checking out the help wanted ads in "The Fence Post", which is a regional weekly paper that has ranch jobs listed. They are on-line or you can contact them directly for a subscription.

You can also go to www.wyomingatwork.com which is the job services throughout the state. I've seen ranch jobs listed in it periodically.

It can be a challenge to do ranch work in the winter. But, you will experience things than few others get to. A cold, still dawn has a special beauty.

You will also learn great skills like unfreezing pipes quickly, warming up chilled livestock, and how to shop in case of blizzard. lol

Fence Post, wyomingatwork, ranchworldads, and tristate livestock news all carry ads for jobs in WY.

Good luck.

but time$ are tuff, and most outfits this time of year are 'winding down' and actually looking to cut-loose as much help as they can, till winter really sets in...calving/lambing season is when the ranch-jobs start opening up again.

heck, most cattle ranchers in Star Valley were calving in Feb (the heart of winter)

Biggest question is: How much experience can you bring to the table?
