The problem is with US, not the casinos. Reason we decided a "no" on move to Las Vegas. Way to much of a temptation to go to a casino and hit the slots, especially when they are right in the city you are living in. IOW, some things are just to hard to "restraint" from. LOL

The answer to that is, no. Not every town/city has a casino. Both areas with casinos, on the Front Range aka Eastern Slope, are in the mountains...........a 2-hour drive from where we live now.

The bigger casinos, like Harrah's, MGM, South Pointe are very nice in Vegas.

Wife and I took a turn-around bus trip once, from So California to Vegas. The two casinos the bus stopped at were rather ugly inside. Both were off-Strip. That kind of casino can attract Mr. and Mrs. Bad.

So, question is, would Cheyenne be a good fit for us? We most definitely know that during CFD (Cheyenne Frontier Days) it would be, but the rest of the year...........not sure.

And, if there much crime in Cheyenne, it sure isn't heard about much.

Just to see a Wyoming license plate on our Durango would look very, very cool. At least we think so.

Cheyenne is the largest city in Wyo. and the capital. I would think that it would have the most crime since it has the highest population which might not be a bad thing.

I am surprised you aren’t worried about this:

given how many times you have posted about your concerns with tattoos. They do have a “tattoo rodeo” though…

Well, we are going to check into it again. Drive up, spend a night or two and check some things out, like apartments.

May end up checking Laramie out as well, but I know that the University of Wyoming is there, which means quite number of young adults in their 20's. But, also know that the University has a rodeo team also. Will just have to see how much it's changed since we were there in 2002.

Renting an apartment if possible might be a good thing before making final purchase on home.

They cannot purchase a home, they need to rent an apartment.

Well, can't get completely away from it, but at least they are "rodeo" type tattoos. Anyway, when we were in Cheyenne in a couple of years ago, we seen a waitress with a sleeve tattoo and a male restaurant host with numerous tattoos.

Cody has tattoo parlors as well as Carson City, NV does. We aren't totally against tattoos, like some people think we are. But, when I see a rather large tattoo of Satan on the arm of a cook at a famous restaurant (Mimi's), I get somewhat discouraged and so does my wife. When I ask him "why?", he reply was "because I love Satan". Some people wouldn't be bothered by that, but, as Christians, we were.
