And, causing "chaos"??? How?? You sound like everyone in Cheyenne hates the PRCA cowboys/cowgirls. If that was the case, CFD would be gone. CFD happens to be one of the biggest rodeos in America.

You say "people who live there hate it". Just how do you know that for a fact? Have you talked to every single person in Cheyenne and found that out??

Lots and lots of money is spent in Cheyenne during CFD. How can that be bad??

We just don't get it!! Please explain better "the chaos" thing. You make Cheyenne look like the worst place in America to be during CFD. As far we know, that definitely isn't true, but we haven't lived there yet and may not.
Go visit during Frontier Days. It's an ocean of people. Traffic is beyond belief.

We've been to Frontier Days twice, sat in traffic quite awhile before find a parking lot to pull into, but that's just seems to go with going to a large event. And, Frontier Days is a large event. Didn't really bother us, that much.

We've sat in traffic a couple of times going to the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo in Denver. Quite bit of traffic, until we found a parking lot that had some parking spots open. Again, just part of going to a large event.

And, when talking about sitting in traffic, we did that when we went to the NFR in Las Vegas last December. A whole lot of traffic on the Strip and by Thomas-Mack Center.

Sitting in traffic doesn't bother me that much and I'm always the one driving. My wife can drive, but she likes a "Driver" as well as a "Maid" and "Butler", so I do it all. I'm retired, so I can.

Lots of folks go to Frontier Days, so it must be liked quite a bit. Love the Indian Village, Chuckwagon Cook-Off and all of the vendors. At our age, 73/me-74/her, a long rodeo, like Frontier Days has, isn't to our liking much anymore.

Have never been to Casper, let alone the CNFR, but IF we wind up in Wyoming (Cheyenne?), will definitely want to go.

Bottom Line, some folks can handle lots of traffic, like what's in Los Angeles/Orange County, CA (that both my wife and I handled for numerous years) or at a major rodeo, like CFD, and others can't. We still can, but don't know how much longer.
