Anyone around the Douglas/Lusk area know anything about growing or what to add to the soil? Nothing grows around where I live except sagebrush.

Not from your area but we've been doing some research on a walipini. If we're able to get through our solid mountain rock?

Talk to ag extension, the paid experts intended to answer such questions. Ask about pH,
minerals, etc. and probably bring a sample or a few from different spots. But easy answers would be organic material, fertilizer, water and probably a greenhouse.

Up north of you we had an experience, good garden, to some years only something grow other don't. One year Hail, rabbits , deer, hoppers. Funny even the deer will stop eating summer squash after a bit.
