strange... some of these ghosts have similarities from town to town...

" lady with her left arm and left leg removed may repeatedly be witnessed rummaging around in the freezer in the kitchen of a Lander residence at the stroke of midnight."

"A woman with her head and both legs amputated is regularly noticed searching through a fridge in the kitchen of a Rawlins home late in the night."

Interesting site though. When I lived in an apartment building in Lander we had a wooden gingerbread man wall hanging, that was joined together by twine, mysteriously end up cut apart and put in a drawer in the tv stand. While I blamed my daughter, then 8, she swears to this day she did not do the deed..so perhaps there are ghosts.

I believe there is more to this world than we know.

I was looking up information on ghost towns not far from here when I came upon that web page. It made me laugh so I thought it would be fun to post. Other towns probably have similar pages but I haven't looked for any.

I just hope I don't run into that headless, no legs woman getting in my fridge late at night! How do you scare someone like that away?

These ghosties get around...similar ones here in Alaska. I love the afterthought comment - "this ghost shouldn't be messed with" etc. Hmmmm.

I am making some ghosts to hang from the apple tree to see if they scare the deer. If they stay away from the tree I think my mobile idea over a small garden area next spring may work.

I hope none of the Wyoming ghosts think I am "messin" with them in any way!!!

I always used hair clippings around the garden to scare deer, and my dad hangs small hotel sized bars of soap in knee high hose from his apple trees...and it seems to work. The hair clippings can be gathered at the barber when you have your hair cut. you can also try hanging old cd's (they're shiny and spin in the sun)..they work in gardens too to scare the birds.

not sure about the ghosts, but good luck!
