I agree with you on the topography of Thermop. It really is pretty driving into town from any direction, though. Dropping down into town and seeing the red hills or coming through the canyon are all nice. Weather isn't bad down in that little hole, either! It's just that I didn't enjoy living there much....the town wasn't for me!
