So, I'm leaving my job as the IT Director of a county library system. This is a "Jack of all trades, master of none" type position, county government, 20 years to retirement, fairly good medical, Excellent work environment, enough pay to support living here on just one paycheck. A good job in other words. The downside is that it requires you to live in either Lander, Riverton or Dubois Wyoming (with Lander and Riverton being the smartest choices since you'll be in one of those 2 towns 4 days of each week).

I know the job market is rough all over. I doubt there would be paid move involved (we're still governed by a fixed budget), but here's an option.

We're not a stickler for paper qualifications, but you better darn well be able to prove competency with Cisco VoIP, switches, VPN, IOS, Active Directory (Win Server 2003), Group Policies, Exchange 2007, Video over IP and NAS storage, some basic HTML programming, and on down to the most basic of PC troubleshooting as this is a one person operation for everything. "everything" involves the entire network, all attached devices, for 3 main branches and 4 minor branches.

If you're interested, or know someone who may be, give me an email at bmccoy@fclsonline.org.

Brian
