Is this something people are interested in? Do people need childcare for New Years Eve? If so, what is the best way to advertise???

I would be skeptical of anyone I didn't know if I had children. They would have to be licensed, bonded, and insured as well as a recent background check available for viewing.
Thanks for the site! I'm not sure why i'd need to be licensed and bonded to babysit for one night?!?!? Other babysitters arent required to do this as i've babysat for alot of years and i'm just not doing anything this new years eve so i decided to see if i could help some parents out! Thanks though!
Well, nothing personal, but I have to agree with groove1. My thought on reading this was "Yeah, right! I'm just going to take my daughter to a complete stranger and leave her OVERNIGHT!" I feel sorry for any child whose parents would be so reckless.

I don't know about SC, but I believe in NC you need a license for this actually as you would essentially be running a day care. Do you know what could happen to you God forbid if something happened to a child in your care and you weren't insured or bonded? You would definitely face a civil lawsuit and more than likely face criminal charges as well. Nothing personal and I'm sure your intentions are good, but in this day and age, you cannot be too careful.
There is also a drop off day care on 160 usually open 7 days a week, but I don't know if they have anything going on for NYE.
I am sure (or at least hope...) that any parent who would be using a babysitter would meet them and do the necessary research before utilizing their services.
