I have not been to Longbranch yet, lovemygirls, but it has popped up on my radar before. I have always wondered about the place, too. I could discern from their website that you do in fact need to have a membership to get in for the night.
The site states...
"go to the membership page and print out the application and bring it to the club the night before you want to party. Or come down the night before you want to party and fill out the application in person. There is a 24 hour hold on all applications."
Looks like they are open on Thurs, Fri and Sat from 8 pm to 2 am. Have fun! If you go, I hope you'll let us know what it was like.
I called and the receptionist is gonna let us be her guest so we don't have to buy a member ship just to go 1 time. I thought that was cool!! Who knows, we might end up buying a membership after we find out what its like. It should be alot of fun!!
If you cannot stand country western music like me, do not go. The place offers nothing for you then.
I am very disapointed in the nightclub options in Rock Hill. The only decent place I have found, McHales, is always way too crowded.
If anyone can suggest a decent place to go in this town, I'm all ears.
Lovemygirls, ohioan... I hope you'll consider joining us for the meet-up in Baxter tomorrow evening if you can. See sticky at the top of the Y & L forum.
Also, it sounds like ya'll will probably enjoy Thursday nights on Main Street in downtown Rock Hill. Rolls around again this coming summer as far as I know. Street party, live bands, GREAT crowd, dancing in the streets (largest number of people I've seen dancing in a long time). The genre of music changes each week. I am a big fan of all things downtown R/H. Yep, ohioan, McHale's downtown is popular. That's why I love Thursdays, 'cause lots of fun and sociable folks turn out but people aren't all crammed inside some place. Beautiful (and fun) way to spend a Thursday evening. I look forward to doing so again this summer.
Almost all of the nightlife is in Charlotte. Probably not a big need for nightlife in Rock Hill unless it was a college bar near Winthrop.
