Hi there - we're relocating to the area from Orlando and this home search is starting to wear on me. We are currently under contract on a home that has been determined (via home inspection, and subsequent structural engineering report) that it needs significant help...so....that being said, we're looking at a plan B should the seller balk at fixing due to the cost involved.
Because we're now up against the clock - time is of the essence - so we're looking at new or newer resales - I understand the market well, and the schools - very educated on that side - but what I don't know is which neighborhoods are reporting horror stories with their new(er) builds? I want to know who to avoid. We're looking on the Tega Cay side 29708 - and have looked at The Reserve, Lake Ridge, Lake Shore, Camden, Brayden - and we want to stay under 425k (closer to 325k if I had my say). Any opinions out there? TIA!!
