Hello all - I am curious if anyone knows what shops or restaurants are coming to the new building behind the BP and Chic- Fil -A by the Lowes on 160. Fingers crossed for a Panera Bread, but they only seem to put those within a 1/4 mile of Target stores in NC/SC.

There is a Panera near Walmart in SW Charlotte and one has been near Nothlkae Mall for a while. There is also one in Ballantyne Village, no Target near there.

sorry OP as I haven't heard what else is going in over there as of yet...but there is another Panera Bread (Manchester Village in Rock Hill/Int.77-exit 79/Dave Lyle Blvd)

....and it follows right along with your theory...Target is right across the street!

Ha! Groove1 I dispute your claim - the Ballantyne Panera is conveniently located near the Target on Rea Rd (I will admit that it is a bit more than 1/2 a mile though). We're closing on our Baxter home at the end of the month and it looks like we'll be headed to Dave Lyle Blvd for our Target/Panera fix. Thanks for all of the responses.

They are not allowed to open any more of those in/around downtown Fort Mill. The one at Doby's Bridge/160 was there before they made the rule, so it was grandfathered in. I don't think they will put either near the Lowes. I am glad they put some speed bumps in the BP parking lot since it is an exit for the Chik Fil A. That was just asking for a tragedy.
