I saw a similar thread on the Charlotte forum, and was interested to know what people experienced here - given that we didn't have early voting.

I arrived at the poll at about 7:15, and waited a little over two hours. However, when I got done, the line was *a lot* shorter than when I got there. I thought I'd save time by getting there bright and early, but the problem is, a lot of people had the same idea

Voted last night as absentee at the Lancaster County courthouse. People were friendly, patient and the county employees deserve a lot of credit for their hard work.
