Demuth Park


Demuth Park, located at 4365 Mesquite Avenue, Palm Springs, CA, is Palm Springs' largest park providing 61 acres for a variety of outdoor activities with a stunning view of the mountains in the background.

The park features ball fields, batting cages, basketball and tennis courts; soccer fields, picnic tables, a playground and large expanses of greenery for additional recreational activities. The park is open daily until 10 p.m. Drinking fountains and restrooms are also available, and the YMCA youth center is conveniently nearby.

Palm Springs provides several other sorts of activities: both outdoor and urban. For those looking to stay in the city, visit Villagefest, a street fair in downtown Palm Springs every Thursday evening; view the city's distinctive architecture, explore the Palm Springs Desert Museum, catch a performance at the McCallum Theater, and stop in at one of the many casinos.

Palm Springs has 354 sunny days every year so there is ample opportunity to explore the outdoors. Some outdoor attractions include: golfing , tennis, swimming, the Oasis Water Park, the Whitewater River Ride, the Living Desert, the Moorten Botanical Gardens and several national parks with miles of trails for horseback riding, biking, rock climbing and hiking.

Just off of I-10, Palm Springs is 100 miles east of Los Angeles and 110 miles north east of San Diego.
