Description: Located on the north and south sides of Victoria Street in Costa Mesa, the preserve encompasses nearly 180 acres and is divided into a half-dozen zones where clusters of plant groups thrive. Zone I is the Intensive Use Area and Zone II is the Border Planting region with vegetation grown to maintain boundaries and screen embankments. There is also a Coastal Zone, Native Grassland Zone, Alluvial Woodland Zone, and Wetland Zone each with its own purpose and habitats.
