As I research more and more into civil rights abuses experienced by Native Americans both here and in Canada, the sadder I get. One would think that in this enlightened day and age, there would be less racism, less greed, but this is not so. Perhaps we have not evolved as fully as I had thought. When it comes down to unfulfilled treaties and monetary repayment, greed is always the deciding factor. It's not a matter of who was here first or you owe us. It is a matter of broken promises of a government....
