Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

December 12, 2023 – Exhortation

Posted 12-12-2023 at 05:55 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

1 Corinthians 2:9 - "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'"

2024 will see the Lord bring swift advancement to many people. There is also a call from the Lord for His people to move beyond their comfort zones and step into new territory, operating in the new way the Lord is leading them. They will spiritually move into a new land, occupy new territory, and move...

Developing Vision

Posted 12-12-2023 at 01:42 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

Ephesians 3:20–21: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

The Holy Spirit desires us to live every day in the fullness of the Lord, DEVELOPING VISION that bears fruit that remains for His Kingdom, and He desires for Jesus to receive glory and honor through His great power that works in us and through us. This...

Scripture Of The Day - December 12, 2023

Posted 12-12-2023 at 01:22 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

So long as we have a limited mindset, we will try to hold on to what we have possessed and lost. But when the Holy Spirit tells us to release and move on, we are free to go, because we know that more is on its way.

This is the mindset of abundance—the covenant mindset: You can trust in God's unlimited supply and know that more is always on its way.

Sometimes we want to settle for "enough," but God has more for us. He says, "I have enlargement and encounter...

Biblical Wisdom - 388

Posted 12-12-2023 at 01:12 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

Some people are waiting for us, desperately needing us to fulfill God's call on our lives, so they too can experience salvation. He is asking us to forsake our offenses and grievances, once and for all, and lay them at the foot of the Cross. Jesus Christ forgave each one of us for ALL of our sins, so we can extend the same grace to our brother or sister in the Lord. If we are harboring offense, we must repent so we can move forward in our Christ calling.

"And herein do I exercise...

Our Best Days Are Yet To Come

Posted 12-12-2023 at 02:28 AM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10

We were created to serve God. We were placed on this planet for a special assignment. The enemy's strategy tempts us to wear our own identities in a lesser role than what God desires for us (our DESTINY).

COME TO UNDERSTAND YOUR CHRIST IDENTITY

Come to understand your Christ identity with a mindset...
