DH was surfing the web on his laptop, while I knitted the scarf I am working on, and Bigun WAS sleeping on the other side of the sofa. We'd recently commented how cute he was when he slept -- with his little black hound face propped on the arm rest and his legs tucked into his belly.

Each morning I check out the C-D New Posts section to see if there's anything of interest to which I would like to make a contribution. Over the last several weeks, the number of times I've felt drawn has dropped. Most of the subject lines are a big "So what? Who cares?"

Either people have grown more obsessed with the mundane, or I have lost my need to participate. Whatever the reason, this forum has lost attraction for me.

I think it's time to find another...

My BIL sat on our sofa with his (then) ten year old son and his wife. DH and I had been discussing the uncertainty of the times with our visitors from out of town, when he made the comment and stopped us in our thoughts.
