Did your Grandma wear gloves when you were a child. I do not mean winter gloves, I mean the white gloves that were so prevalent in past years when Women *dressed* for every occassion. There were everyday gloves and there were special occassion gloves.
My Grandma did not wear gloves when I was a child however, she was born in Germany and lived on a farm or rural area so I am guessing that the fashion requirements were very different from those who lived in the city.

When someone leaves a comment in the reputation area of this forum but does not sign the comment.
It appears that not everyone is aware of the fact that all moderators and administrators on this forum can see who wrote the comment, even if/when it is not signed.
This means if the comment is reported it is very possible to get an infraction from the comment that is left even if it is not signed.
