So we have been looking at various places to relocate. Yes it is all about the money. We are tired of going paycheck to paycheck and still needing to visit the cash-n-go 2X a month to get by. Some might ask how did we let that happen? Living Beyond our means? Have one of those sub-prime mortgages?? NO and NO...Driving 3 verywell used cars...conventional FHA mortgage...but paying close to $500 a month in property tax ($350), house insurance($100) PMI ($50)...and wondering how long we can hold on. And in the end if we come through this DEPRESSION, will we be ok even then?

It's just so depressive to see society attack the working people and try to take from them what my relatives and probably yours, fought and died for in the 1930s and 1940s. The "SIT DOWN STRIKE" in Flint, The Ford ROUGE STRIKE and the MILLER STREET "war"...

Suddenly it's disgusting to earn $30 hour, but not $20 million if you are CEO of CITIBANK using TAXPAYER $$..That is SAVING the economy from communistic RUIN.

Short bursts are all I can manage B4 I begin to hemorage..

I took all of my credit cards and cut them up! I had to go through hard times for a peroid of time but not if I do not have the money to pay for something, I don't need it!
I am of the opinion that most people are living way beyond their means to pay.
Sure i would like to have the fancy car or a better house but I am not going to allow myself to go back deep into debt to get it!

    Beyond our means?

We totally agree. We have been without credit cards for 5 years. We have paid cash for our cars, even getting one from my brother for free. We know too many people who are living on the edge--cash for everything, 10-15 year old cars, replacing grass in the yard for garden, and on a year round payment plan with DTE.
Those beyond there means are doing well because they are able to realign after the collapse because they still have an income...
