Yoga at sunset on the river

Holding balancing stick
On the city river wall
Evening air cooling
As the sun starts to fall.
Perched atop solid concrete
If focus not maintained
49 foot plunge into the river
Not so sweet.
Is that guy silly?
Why those jumps and sprints across the lawn?
Why's he singing to himself?
Working out both dusk and dawn...
Quite simply, to find balance
In a life oft tumultuous
Taxing the body
Brings my spirit solace.
Not for attention
Nor a broken heart
Yoga on a wall at sunset
Serenity does impart
