Fun Winery in San Juan Capistrano

I wanted to write a short blog post on the Rancho Capistrano Winery. It’s located at 26755 Verdugo Street in San Juan Capistrano. One of the reasons I am writing this blog post and sharing it with San Clemente is they are opening up a new location in San Clemente within the next few months. I think it’s going to be on Del Mar Street. san juan capistrano winery One of the members from our “San Clemente Uncorked” Wine Group told us about this place, so we decided to check it out. When we first walked in i thought the setup was pretty cool, the bar was up front by the street and the whole winery was visible. The best part about the layout was the back patio area. Very large, lots of tables, a small dancing area and a large fireplace. We decided to do a tasting and were pleasantly surprised. We ejoyed the wine and had some great service. The bartender was knowledgeable and very fun. The highlight of the night was the food, we tried a couple of the flat breads and my wife Christie said they were the best she’s ever tasted.We signed up for the monthly membership. You get 2 bottles of wine each month which total around $50.There are some great perks that come with the membership. After signing up and becoming members two people can visit the winery daily for either a glass of wine or a wine tasting. For those of you who enjoy going out and having a glass of wine after work, this is a nice affordable option. We are excited to try the rest of the menu and by the looks of it, we won’t be disappointed. We also loved the atmosphere, especially on the patio. There was a very good band playing with a small dance floor in front of the fire. Everybody was having so much fun, dancing, talking and we ended up meeting some awesome people. Both Christie and I highly recommend this place, if you are looking to join a wine club that will soon be local this might be a great option for you. It was a great experience and we are happy we joined.
