Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

Seeking Communion - July 11, 2018

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me." - Revelation 3:20

Re-open your hearts to Him. For now He comes, and knocks fresh on your heart. For He has come to take away disappointments, shame, grief, humiliation. He has come to cover you in His robes of righteousness. For He declares, and decrees over you, you are perfect in His sight; you are holy set aside -- peculiar and strange. Holy Holy.

Come into His Presence boldly. Reason together with Him. Say what He says, for He has set His Spirit of Truth upon His people. Embrace truth, and let truth embrace you. Let His truth embrace you, know He is the Father -- a loving, kind, gentle, Father. He does not reject. He does not cast out. for He is not a Father who is distant, but He is a God who is always with you.

For the floodgates of Hell will come against you, but He says, 'The Glory of God has blocked it.' Be not fearful of the future, for He has already walked ahead of you. Be not fearful of the past, for it is over. It is closed. It is sealed. It is remembered only as the days of ancient.

LET HIM COME WITH HIS FIRE

Present your body as a living sacrifice. Even though you may not understand, do not lean to your own understanding. Cling to the work of His Cross, and let His Cross cling to you.

Let His finished work prosper you, heal you, position you, re-instate you, draw you with loving kindness to Himself. Let His loving kindness come upon you.

Be not lonely. Seek not isolation; seek stillness to listen for His voice. Present yourself before Him. Let His Spirit hover over you. For when He hovers, He creates life. Let Him hover. Let Him create. Let Him make a way where there is no way.

Let Him be the Guide. Place yourself firmly, determinedly, with no anxiety, behind Him. Let Him lead, and be willing to follow in humility. For He will lift your hand, then favor will come. He will command another man's hands to come forth, and positions will be created.

Let Him come with His fire, and let Him come with the sword of His Word. Let Him put His lamp unto your feet. For He would not have you stumble about in the darkness, guessing to or fro for direction. But He would have you in relationship; to where you would hear His voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way. Therefore, walk in it.'

REST AND RECEIVE

In rest, you will find peace. You will find healing. You will find so much that washes over you; and would pass you by, because you are too busy. Martha missed so much. But Mary sat still, and received. Have a heart like Mary, but have the servant willingness like Martha. For I want a complete Bride, wooed by My Spirit, moving in My Spirit.

Despise not small beginnings, but gather dreams, gather hopes. Re-gather the vision. For He calls you and longs to strengthen you; then His joy will forever be upon you.

"I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." - Revelation 1:8
