Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

Romans 12:3 - "........God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."

As children of God, we should never say, "I don't have any faith." To say this is to say that God is a liar because His Word already tells us that "God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."

Why does faith of some seem to be stronger than others?

Faith is like a body muscle -- the more we exercise our measure of faith, the bigger and stronger it grows. Each time we hear or read God's Word, we are feeding our faith. When we confess God's word and expect good things to happen to us, we are using it. And the more we use it the more our faith grows, and grows, and grows, and grows........

For example:
We could start with headaches. When we have a headache, instead of always running straight for our painkillers ---use our faith. We thank God for the healing we are receiving.

When we go to the doctor, then we go in faith, praying, "Abba Father, I am going to the doctor. Thank you, in Jesus name, for giving the doctor's wisdom to give me an accurate diagnosis. My trust is not in him but in You."

When we take our medicine in faith we say: "Lord, sanctify this medicine," then we take it. He blesses that medicine. And what will be developing in us, growing bigger and possessing our bodies until it is wide-spread -- is divine health.

AFFIRMATIONS:

God has given me a measure of faith.

It is the measure of my faith that causes me to draw from the inexhaustible power of a faithful and loving God!

It is imperative that we realize our personal identity in Christ. In Colossians 2:9 we discover this central fact concerning Christ Jesus: "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
Our outlook on life is changed as we contemplate: "And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power." (Colossians 2:10)

"You are complete," which means we lack nothing at all, as we are "in Him." Abiding in Christ and allowing Him to flow freely out of us enables us to function with the greatest degree of success, thus fulfilling God's CALLING upon our life.

It's time for your DESTINY to be set in motion. Nothing will stop you now!
The entrance to the door of this realm is your 'overcoming spirit', wanting at times to give up but not giving into that. You will ride the wave of an overcoming spirit.
You overcome in the onslaught of the thoughts of your mind.

You overcome in the mundane daily activities.
You overcome in the rejection of man.
You overcome in the betrayal of those who persecuted you.
You overcome in the darkness.
You overcome when all you could see was the opposite of what you had living inside of you.
He has hidden manna for you (Rev. 2:17), that will sustain you and nourish you in ways you have not known.

Today you are recovering your dreams He gave you, for you will see what He has said all along becomes your reality. No more backing up and no more backing down. IT'S TIME! It's your Deuteronomy 1:11 that says -- "....He will bless you just as He has promised you."
