For the last few days I have noticed that when I enter a thread and read all the posts, then back out, the main page of threads has been rearranged so that the newest posts are on top. This has not always happened, so I am assuming it is another new feature.

It is driving me crazy! (I hope I'm not suffering alone. )

That is the way it has worked for me for over 10 years on several web sites running vBulletin software. You may have changed a setting, perhaps?

Maybe you changed "Display Modes" in the upper right side?

Nope, nothing has changed in my settings, and, up until a few days ago I did not see this happening.

I read the threads from the top so that I know which ones I have read. A few days back I could do so and had no changes in the order of threads. If the thread I was reading was the 2nd thread listed, then it was still second (and not appearing as if I had read all posts in that thread) when I got back to that page.

Now, that 2nd thread may be anywhere (usually somewhere down the list of threads) and shows that there are no new posts to read.

This is something new for me and for the reasons above it drives me batty. That's all.

I've not noticed any change in the forums. I'm always logging in on a windows pc so things remain stable for the most part. I also use the Firefox browser which was updated just last week but nothing new here on C-D. at my end.

When I arrive I always refresh the site and usually can see that it needed to be done.

Maybe someone wrote a post in that thread - that's why the thread went on the top of the other threads...

This is what is happening.

Maybe it is just a change in Firefox.

This is just something new to me and has not happened in over five years - until this past week. It might not be something new, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Thanks everyone... I guess it is just me.

So you're saying your threads are now arranged by the order of the most recent threads? How were they arranged previously? You can click on the heading over the thread titles that says thread starter to arrange them in order of the original posts, in either ascending or descending order.
